WTO has renewed its interest to deliver the course in 2017 in collaboration with TrainForTrade and UNCTAD/Stat.

It was organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD). The delivery of this course was financed by the 10th tranche of the United Nations Development Account Programme on Statistics and Data.

Registration and participation in the online course were free of charge. A total of 299 participants (97 women) from 44 countries (80% from Africa) registered to the course. 255 participants completed at least one module of the course. A total of 240 participants (75 women) successfully completed the course (with a total average for the six modules above 50%) and received an electronic certificate.
