PMP delivery of Module 2, Cycle 3 in the Philippines
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the framework of the UNCTAD Port Management Programme (PMP) and in cooperation with the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) local organising committee,a port expert from Dublin Port Company as well as from PT Prima Indonesia Logistik, a subsidiary company of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero), will deliver Module 2, Cycle 3 of the Modern Port Management Coursefrom 22 – 26 April 2019 in Manila. 22 middle managers (including 11 women) fromthe port communities of the Philippines who are enrolled in the UNCTAD TrainForTrade Port Management Programme will participate in the course.
The second of the eight training modules examines the port as a system, in particular the actions that a country could take in connection with port facilities to ensure that national ports (big or small; local, regional or national) develop and function efficiently.
