Our commitment
UNCTAD is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
Conformance status
This website is designed to be conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Conformant” means the standard has been met. Some legacy documents may not yet fully meet this standard (see Known limitations below).
Evaluation method
Accessibility is assessed through a combination of automated testing (axe-core) and manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and testing with screen readers.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers and assistive technologies:
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge;
- Screen readers: NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.
Known limitations
- Some PDF documents migrated from the previous site may not yet be fully tagged for accessibility;
- Some third-party embedded content may not meet the same standard.
