Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority set to deliver Module 5 of the Port Training Programme

From 24 to 28 November 2014, the 25 middle managers from the port communities of Tema and Takoradi (Ghana) who are enrolled in the UNCTAD TrainForTrade Port Training Programme will participate in the fifth of eight training modules. The entirety of the module will be delivered by senior managers from the port communities of Tema and Takoradi. These managers, one of whom is a recent graduate of the programme, have been trained as instructors by TrainForTrade.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Module 5 examines the tools of port management. It focuses on the following main topics:
- Strategic planning
- Port statistics
- Collecting and processing data
- ICT in ports
