Back to back deliveries of modules 6 “Economic and Commercial Management” and 7 “Administrative and Legal Management” of the Modern Port Management course were held from 5-16 October 2015 in Manila, Philippines. 23 middle managers from public and private port sectors following the UNCTAD Port Training Programme took part in the training. The participants were also given the opportunity to conduct dissertation simulations in preparation for their final dissertations with a panel of UNCTAD and international port experts in November. The course was delivered by Irish port and shipping law experts and is co-organized with the Philippine Ports Authority with the support of Irish Aid and Campbell Johnston Clark.
