MYEM on Transport, Trade Logistics and Trade Facilitation, 13th session

Global supply chains are facing multidimensional pressures, including pandemics, wars, cyber-attacks, climate shocks, and shifting trade patterns, giving rise to extensive delay and disruptions, with important implications for transport and trade. The session can provide a platform for considered discussion to identify key challenges and opportunities arising for transport, port management, legal issues and regulatory developments in the field of transport, as well as trade facilitation. Building on the discussions, insights and outcomes of the 2nd UNCTAD Global Supply Chain Forum, held in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 29 November to 1 December 2026, experts could consider best practices and areas for action to ensure sustainable, resilient and inclusive supply chains into the future, with special regard to the transport and trade of developing countries.
