Manila, The Philippines (1-5 September 2014)
From 1 to 5 September 2014, the 24 middle managers from public and private port operators in the Philippines who are enrolled in the UNCTAD TRAINFORTRADE Port Training Programme will complete the third of eight training modules.
This training module examines the different services ports provide to ships. The participants will learn about how the different operators within a port must cooperate in order to improve the quality of the services offered and reduce the overall costs.
Senior managers from Philippine Ports Authority and Cebu Ports Authority, as well as the private operators Manila North Harbour Port Inc. and Prudential Customs Brokerage Services Inc. who have been trained as instructors by UNCTAD will lead the training. They will be assisted by a senior manager from Dublin Port Company, a port partner of the programme.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Contacts:
